In it's class, the Drifter is truly the hardest hitting, smoothest shooting and most economical takedown on the market today. It will out shoot and out perform it's competition in every way. The Drifter bow was designed to meet and exceed the demands of the toughest bow hunting conditions.
The Drifter is designed to be a reliable hunting tool with the same shooting and performance characteristics as the other Brackenbury bows. All at a price you can afford. The bow is constructed of a vertically laminated maple riser dyed a walnut color. Limbs are Superflex action wood backed with brown glass.
Discontinued: Actionwood is no longer made with Maple, it's now made with White Birch. White Birch Actionwood is not strong enough to make this riser.
I do still make replacement/extra limbs. 60"-66" lengths. All new limbs will need to be hand fit and tiller to your riser. So once I lay up the limbs and I'm ready to fit them I will notify you to send me your riser. That away you are not with out your bow for long. I will also match the finished used on your riser unless otherwise specified. The standard finish Jim used was Deft Polyurethane Satin.
